The 2023 Brut Blanc de Blancs Crémant d'Alsace is a blend of 95% Auxerrois and 5% Pinot Blanc. It spent just 11 months on lees and was disgorged in December 2024 with 4,5 g/L dosage. The base wines went through full malolactic fermentation. Vivid, fresh, juicy pear fruit tones define the nose, along with some floral notes. The palate is light and beautifully smooth. Despite the short time on lees, this has a sense of creaminess. The 2023 has a sprightly, clean-cut, slender and fresh apéro style. Drink 2025-2028.
