95 Neal Martin - vinous.com (Juli 2019)
The 2015 Haut-Bailly has a very attractive bouquet with red currant, strawberry, crushed stone and subtle graphite aromas, becoming more floral with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, well judged acidity, a little "correct" in style. Precise and detailed on the classic, pencil lead finish. This is one Pessac-Léognan that I scored conservatively, only for it to improve dramatically after 5 or 10 minutes. Tasted blind at the Southwold 2015 Bordeaux tasting.

95 Neal Martin - The Wine Advocate - robertparker.com (Maart 2018)
The 2015 Haut-Bailly has an intense bouquet with raspberry preserve, blackberry and briary scents intertwined with cedar and hints of truffle. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins and superb acidity (more tensile than I remember it in barrel). I adore the focus and the class of this wine, the manner in which it gently fans out toward the finish. Classy and sophisticated, this is an outstanding Haut-Bailly. To repeat my sentiment from barrel, this 2015 is up there with the 2009 and 2010. Anticipated maturity: 2021 - 2045.

95-97 Neal Martin – The Wine Advocate Issue #224 (April 2016) – robertparker.com
Deep in color, the bouquet is very intense with multilayered blackberry, blueberry, crème de cassis and subtle black olive aromas, introverted at first but soon racing out of the blocks with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe, quite firm tannin. This is an Haut-Bailly with real backbone, real sense of purpose. It could have tipped over into being overpowering due to that intense Merlot, but the acidity keeps everything in check and the finish demonstrates wonderful tension. In particular, the aftertaste is incredibly long in the mouth. This Haut Bailly is up there with the 2009 and 2010 - a bravura Pessac-Léognan destined for long-term ageing. Do yourself (and the wine) a favor and cellar it for 12 years, drinking the 2012 or 2013 before reaching for this. Drink: 2027-2065.

98 James Suckling – jamessuckling.com (Februari 2018)

98-99 James Suckling – jamessuckling.com (Maart 2016)
This is a vivid and powerful red with lots of bright fruit and spice character. Full body, chewy tannins and loads of fruit on the finish. Firm and focused tannins. Lots of energy and vibrance. Spice and violet leaf undertone. Pure fruit. Pure structure.

97 Antonio Galloni - vinous.com (Februari 2018)
Once again, I am absolutely stunned by how vivid the 2015 Haut-Bailly is. Bright, red-toned fruit and floral overtones convey freshness. Deep and unctuous in the glass, with tremendous concentration, the 2015 has more than enough clout to age well for several decades. It will need at least a few years in bottle to be truly enjoyable. Drink 2023-2045.

95-97 Antonio Galloni – Vinous - vinous.com (April 2016)
The 2015 Haut-Bailly is remarkably vivid for such a big wine. Firm beams of tannin give the 2015 much of its shape and overall energy, both of which the 2015 needs to balance its superb concentration. Sweet floral and spice notes give lift to the unctuous red cherry jam, pomegranate and blueberry flavors. The 2015 is likely to need quite a bit of time to come together, but it is already a very special wine. Even with all of its obvious depth, the 2015 retains gorgeous freshness.

97+ Lisa Perrotti-Brown - The Wine Advocate - robertparker.com (Februari 2018)
Composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot, the deep garnet-purple colored 2015 Haut-Bailly offers up a tantalizingly savory nose of smoked meats, chargrill, tapenade, unsmoked cigars and black truffles with a core of black currants, black cherries and wild blueberries plus wafts of iron ore and bouquet garni. Medium to full-bodied, very firm and yet wonderfully plush with a powerful core of fruit-this vintage is truly an iron fist in a velvet glove. The finish goes on and on with persistent earthy/minerally notes and savory/sweet fruit. Although it is tempting and indeed delicious right now, the wine still possesses many restrained layers and should handsomely reward the patient. Drink 2024-2050.

18/20 Jancis Robinson – jancisrobinson.com (April 2016)
Very dark, luscious colour - one of the most distinctive colours of all! Savoury and not forced but awfully attractive. Round and fresh. Very nicely assembled. Definitely Graves. Long and very 'cashmere'! Real lift yet intensely ripe fruit too. Very neat! Drink: 2025-2045.

Michael Schuster – The World of Fine Wine (Mei 2016)
If the Haut-Brion wines are a mite too powerful for my taste, there are plenty of very fine alternatives. Haut-Bailly is exceptional, but the standard is very high across the board, and it is probably the most completely successful Pessac-Léognan red-wine vintage ever.

97 Markus del Monego – Tastingbook (April 2016)
Dark purple red with violet hue and almost black core. Excellent fruit, very pure style, dark berries, blackberries, blackcurrants and elderberries, black cherries, and hints of vanilla and gingerbread spices. On the palate well structured with pure fruit, excellent length, fine and mature tannins, freshness and minerality in the finish, a great wine with elegance and persistence.

97 Jeannie Cho Lee MW (Mei 2016)
This is a structured, gorgeous Haut-Bailly that is showing well even in its youth. A lush, generous red that is filled with lifted violet and cedar notes without any heaviness and incredibly freshness. Layers of spices, cedar and tobacco leaf flavors linger on the palate with a long finish.

97 Jane Anson - Decanter Magazine – decanter.com (April 2016)
The Graves wine of the vintage (along with Haut-Brion’s red). A structural, sensual, expansive wine.[…] Incredible persistency. […] Represents 55% of total crop. Double the usual rain in August after four months of serious deficit, then back to half of normal rainfall for both September and October (44mm instead of 90mm) – which is why director Véronique Sanders said for the first time ‘August rains saved the vintage’. This has the potential to be upscored when in bottle. Drink: 2025-2042.

Elin McCoy – Bloomberg
My Top 10 Wines […] This super-elegant red has notes of violets and the structure to age for decades.

19/20 René Gabriel – Wein Wisser (April 2016)
Sattes Purpur-Granat, lila Schimmer aussen.

95-97 Roger Voss - Wine Enthusiast (April 2016)
« Wine of the 2015 Vintage ». This wine is finely balanced with its ripe, dusty tannins contrasted by bold blackberry fruits. This is an impressive wine that has great structure, showing the quality of the Cabernet in the vintage.

19/20 Vinum (Mei 2016)
A delicate and promising bouquet with high quality, seamlessly firm, polished and fresh tannins, and a whole of outstanding harmony and subtle precision; a magnifi-cent wine made with inspiration and reticence.

18/20 Bettane & Desseauve (April 2016)
Grande garde garantie.

18,5/20 Bernard Burtschy – Le Figaro (April 2016)

18-19/20 Eric Riewer – Gault & Millau (April 2016)

Attention, grand vin.

17/20 Jacques Dupont - Le Point (April 2016)
Mûre, cassis, bouche ample, large, tanins soyeux, solide, puissant mais sans dureté, long, finale resserrée.

17,5/20 of 95 Jean-Marc Quarin – quarin.com (April 2016)

18/20 of 94 Rebecca Gibb MW (April 2016)
Tasted at the official start of en primeur week 2015, there were smiles all round and merchants whispering this is going to be a good year after tasting this wine. That's because it's suave and sexy with tannins that are already resolved and coat the mouth - there's not a huge amount of them like you'd find in the northerly reaches of the Medoc but the estate's older vintages show that they can go for the long-haul. Expect a light bodied style that packs plenty of concentration. The finish is drawn out and sappy.

96-98 Jeff Leve – The Wine Cellar Insider – thewinecellarinsider.com (April 2016)
With an excellent depth of color, this wine displays smoke, blackberries, boysenberry, cigar box, spice, caramel and forest floor. Full-bodied with deep flavor, freshness and length. The tannins are refined, but noticeable. This will take time to develop, soften and come around, but based on previous vintages, given time, this should do exactly that. The finish is all about the sweet, ripe, pure, dark, red and black fruits, cocoa and cherry liqueur you find easily in the endnotes.

17,5-18,5/20 Chris Kissack – winedoctor (April 2016)
It has a dark, very pure and perfumed character, with rich fruit, very Cabernet in style, with dried blackcurrant skins, juniper berries, lightly curranty notes, with a dusty and somewhat ethereal edge. The palate is plush, polished, but it has structure too, with beautifully elegant composition, the dark, curranty, berry fruit draped over ripe, succulent, poised tannins and fresh acids. This is beautifully fresh and perfumed, but also substantial, charming, and elegant. A great Haut-Bailly which seems set to please all palates, modern and traditional. A really long finish, laden with ripe tannins. Wonderful.

96 Tim Atkin – timatkin.com (April 2016)
« Top Ten Left Bank Reds ». In a very good vintage for Pessac-Léognan, Haut-Bailly really stands out for its quality, confirming the ongoing improvements here. Intense, brooding and given extra structure by the use of Petit Verdot for the first time, this is complex, saline and focused with delightful oak integration and a long, stylish finish. Drink: 2025-2035.

95-97 Christer Byklum - B My Bordeaux (April 2016)
Ruby. Dark fruits, spices, ripe, rich, elegant and nuanced nose. Layered. Floral and minerals. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, juicy, dark berries, spices, detailed, long.

98-100 Johan Magnusson – Diva Viner (Mei 2016)
