Bel Air 2020 is overheerlijk sappig en gourmand en dit vanaf de eerste indruk. Deze Lalande de Pomerol is even precies aks intens en walst met gemak over het palet. Bovendien is de finale voorzien van de gewenste lengte. Château de Bel Air 2020 is zonder meer een prachtwijn en… een koopje. Bravo aan de familie de Laet. Deze wijngaard van 15 hectare rust op “graves quaternaires sur argile sur sous-couche ferrugineuse”. 73% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc en 8% Cabernet Sauvignon. IN DE PERS 89-91 Neal Martin – vinous.com (Mei 2021) The 2020 Château de Bel-Air, a Lalande de Pomerol distributed by JP Moueix, has an effervescent nose of black cherries, orange zest and light blueberry aromas; there is good energy conveyed by these aromatics. The palate is medium-bodied with good structure, slightly grainy tannins and a solid, espresso-tinged, quite herbal finish. It might miss a little length but there is plenty of character here. Drink 2025-2038. 87-89 Antonio Galloni – vinous.com (Mei 2021) The 2020 Bel-Air is a tasty, straightforward Lalande de Pomerol. Dark plum fruit, chocolate, licorice, spice, menthol and espresso are all kicked up in this succulent Right Bank red. I would prefer to drink it on the young side, while the fruit remains vibrant. Drink 2023-2035. 89-91 Lisa Perrotti-Brown – robertparker.com (Mei 2021) The 2020 de Bel-Air has a medium to deep garnet-purple color and pretty notes of crushed raspberries and blackberries, kirsch and lavender, plus wafts of fallen leaves, wild mushrooms and damp soil. Medium-bodied, the palate is delicately styled with loads of savory characters intertwined with red and black berries layers, framed by soft tannins and just enough freshness, finishing on an earthy note.
